ABOUT MONTE VISTA

Monte Vista Baptist Church is a BGAV church outside of Altavista, Virginia. We are a small church with a big heart for missions in our community and around the world. Join us for traditional Sunday morning worship, Sunday School for all ages, Bible Study, hands-on mission projects, and more!

Pastor Wyatt Miles has been at Monte Vista since August 2014. He is originally from this area in Virginia and moved back home to pastor and work on his family's cattle farm. He went to Carson-Newman University for undergrad and Truett Seminary at Baylor University for his Master's of Divinity. When he is not preaching, teaching, or wrangling cows, he enjoys a good cup of coffee, a good book of theology, and a good board game.
